Musical History...

At age fourteen I started our first horn section with Graham
from The Band. That was twenty eight years ago…
We were called the `Y Fronts` : we gave such good support
at all times.

When I was seventeen I went to Germany for about four
years and played at a lot of Beer Festivals during which I
often got extremely drunk (this would not of course happen now - ed.) I came back to England and joined a group
called `Biz Internationale` ( this is the way we spelt it because we were such pretentious gits ) and were signed
up by WEA. We had a great time supporting Tina Turner,
Rose Royce, The Go Betweens, The Passions, Jools
Holland, and the Blues Band.

Two years later we formed `Apres Ski`, playing swing punk.
We played for the BBC on The Cellar Show With John
Sessions - he went on to become famous; we did not (undeservedly?)

Next came `Feel Effect`. This was a very unusual group but
we did go on to have one of our tracks mixed in New York
which was extremely cool.

Then came `The Agency`; playing in this band has to be the
most fun I have had over the years playing music. Whilst I
have been in `The Agency`, I have played with a few other groups amongst which `The Pictures`, `Big Blue`, `The
Blues Bruvvers`, and `Raving Madness`. I also made an
album with a Scottish band who's name has slipped my mind.
